The D Space Salon, designed by Jen-Hung Liao and Ching-Yu Lin, is a remarkable example of how modernism and functionality can come together to create a unique and captivating space. Located in Yilan County, Taiwan, this salon stands out with its innovative design and attention to detail.

The designers drew inspiration from the plain materials and intensive modernism, resulting in a space that is embellished with gray as the core structures, black as the outlines, and woods as the coverings. This combination of colors and materials creates a visually striking environment that is both elegant and inviting.

One of the unique features of D Space Salon is the integration of a long, big table in the middle of the store. This table not only serves as a functional element but also figuratively defines the space into different areas, creating a smooth layout that enhances the overall experience for customers.

The use of cool color tones, such as cement finish paints, adds to the natural landscaping attractions of the salon. The light reflecting on the cool gray colors develops delicate textures, while the large-scale decorations of natural woods in tables and cabinets intensify the elegant qualities exclusive to a fashion store.

With a total area of 102 square meters, D Space Salon successfully combines functionality, aesthetics, and marketing strategies. The colors ornamented on the ceilings, walls, and floors visually and inventively distinguish space characteristics, consolidating the values of the salon.
